Aquí les dejo un par de fotos del colectivo que manejó mi tío Luis María Soria y Abel Godoy; en la Línea 1 del año 1981, la Empresa La Unión que era de César Rodríguez.
El recorrido era de Cargill hasta Boulevard Yrigoyen, a la altura de calle Urquiza... Pasaba por Villa Las Lomas, Villa Sol, Bajada Grande, Cementerio, Regimiento, Plaza Ramirez, zona Puerto, Boulevard Yrigoyen."

Continuando con mi relato a mediados de 1940 mas o menos mi padre compra una casa tipo chalet de dos plantas con varias habitaciones en planta baja y en primer piso y con un lugar muy grande para el deposito de las pinturas e hidrofugos que el vendia, con un jardin en su frente y un fondo de la misma muy grande yo en estos momentos calculo que tqnia mas de 60 metros de fondo y 40 de ancho en el habia dos grandes higueras y dos inmensos perales, ciruelos y pelones yo chocho con la casa porque tenia mucho espacio para jugar, la casa estaba ubicada en la diagonal 74 Nº 52 entre las calles 119 y 120 practicamente donde terminaba la diagonal 74, reuerdo que al final de la diagonal salia el camino viejo a Punta Lara, era un lugar de manzanas sin edificar con varios estud de caballos de carreras y utilizaban estos terrenos para variar o preparar los caballos antes de las carreras, la gente de la plata en esos tiempos era muy burrera. Pero lo importante que a dos cuadras de casa estaba la terminal de la linea 7 de colectivos asi que cuando podia me escapaba de casa e iba a la misma a verlos no eran muchos en esos tiempos los mas comunes eran Dodge 1939 de once asientos tenian un dodge 1936 pulman y Dodge 1939 con sobretecho , y justo al lado de mi casa vivia un chofer de esta linea y estacionaba el colectivo y yo con el hijo jugabamos a que manejabamos el mismo para mi era todo una aventura, era como el sueño de un colectivo propio de esta manera conoci la linea 7 que comenzo a circular en el año 1934 justo el año de mi nacimiento.Arnaldo Francisco Sabatto10 Abril, 2023
