En la línea 544, tiene dos nuevos recorridos, P y L, desde un principio llegaban hasta Itatí y Andrés Bello, en V. Albertina (terminaba junto a la 541), pero luego lograron alargarlo hasta Feria La Salada. Mientras tanto en la 541, ahora llega hasta el Hospital Allende, en Ing. Budge. Se encuentra en servicio éste coche, toda una novedad, es un chasis Agrale MT 17.0 LE, carrozado por Metalpar, hasta el momento solo un prototipo estaba en circulación. Comienza la era de estos chasis carrozados por la firma de Loma Hermosa, también el aire acondicionado en la línea.
Dato aparte, a pesar de la baja calidad de la imagen, se aprecia un calco con la Vírgen de Luján, junto al cartel de la C.N.R.T., modalidad adoptada en varias líneas del grupo NUDO y D.O.T.A. también, se ha vuelto una empresa mística
